As you can tell from the title, this post is not aimed at Fashion/Beauty.
Please take a minute to read this post and God willing, send a prayer to every sufferer on Earth- regardless of their race, religion, or gender.
This post is primarily referring to the disheartening situation that has seized Syria and Egypt.
Hearing about atrocity overcoming Islamic countries has almost become the norm, especially for the Muslims. We almost have a insouciant response now, caring the least to take heed to what is being shown over the media and articles because its only normal. It makes me wonder, how cheap has Muslim blood become? How blind have we become?
A lot of people ask, what can we do? How much can we pray? But no, Dua is certainly the lethal weapon of the Believer. No catastrophe should deter us a single degree from the course of supplicating. Stay firm and pray for your brothers and your sisters who only dream of what you and I have: freedom.
Don't ever forget, nothing comes between the supplication of the oppressed and his lord. The Prophet (saw) told us:
"Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no barrier between his
invocation and Allah." [Bukhari]
Again the Prophet tells us:
"Three Duas are such in which there is no doubt of their
acceptance: 1) Father’s Dua 2) Traveler’s Dua 3) Dua of the oppressed”.
[Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah]
I sincerely ask you to take a moment and pray for those who suffer at the hands of injustice.
Allahumma aghfir lana, wa lil mu'miniia, wal-mu'minaati, wa aslih-hum, wa salih dhati bayynihim, wa allif baina quluubihim, waj'al fi quluubi-himul imaana wal hikmata, wa-nsurhum 'ala' 'aduw-wika wa 'aduwwihim
O Allah! Forgive us, and the believing men and women, and remove their faults, and cause peace and love among their hearts, and infuse into their hearts a firm faith and wisdom, and let them be victorious over Your enemies and their enemies.
United we stand, divided we fall.
XO
Maryam
