Lately I've seen a particular style of necklace become an instant- head turning- trend being adorned by every fashionista and gossiped about on every blog (who knew a piece of jewelry could be so popular). I've been wanting to get my hands on this particular piece for sometime now but couldn't give into paying $39+ for it. But then I spotted a miracle when I stumbled into one of my all time favorite stores...
TADA! There it was in all its glory patiently waiting for me!
With a modest price tag of only $14.80 the deal unexpectedly became even sweeter. Currently all jewelry is 30% off so instead of paying $14.80 you'll get it for $10.36! *inserts happy dance!*
Naturally, I had to snag both the color options!
Now tell me ladies, would you consider this a deal?! I can't wait to style it!
Texas decided to give us a little sneak peek of Spring weather this weekend. It was just beautiful outside with the right amount of wind and the right amount of sunshine, ahhh! What's funny is, Texan's complain about the heat and how we never have a 'winter.' And now that God gave us a winter, we complain about how its so cold, LOL. Realization: Man is never ever satisfied. Sighs, that includes me. Anyhow, here's a quick OOTD from Saturday.
I decided to skip liner and blush and went with just mascara and bronzer.
And some pictures from my iPhone:
Crazy quality difference between my phone and camera!
It was my husbands suggestion to take pictures in front of this backdrop, how cute. lol
We visited the "Roads of Arabia" exhibition which was about the unknown history of the Arabian peninsula. The exhibition presented recently discovered archaeology material that has never been seen in North America before. There were many neat findings in the museum along with this old Kaba door! I was able to sneak a picture (they don't allow photographing inside the museum) of the old door that has been replaced by the current one today. How cool!? subanAllah!
It felt so unreal to see it. I even touched it a few times lol ^_^.
Lupita is a newcomer to Hollywood but she had everyone's attention last night! This powder blue dress complimented her skin tone so well and she looked absolutely refreshing in it. One of my favorites!
Can you say amazing?! Cate looked stunning in this gorgeous nude gown. I love the flared tulle at the bottom, it perfectly ties sultry and sophistication together. Just stunning.
Her acting in Gravity isn't the only thing that left me in awe! Sandra looked outstanding in this deep royal blue gown by the legendary Mc Queen. She couldn't have done it better!
Camila's wore what looked like a perfect cross between a sari & a dress. Although not many have liked her choice this year, I thought she looked absolutely graceful. I love the draping of the dress and the soft blush hue. It's also so modest, I would indeed wear it!
Her fashion choices never disappoint me! Love everything about this dress. The ombre-ing of texture is genius, can we say couture?!
I haven't got the chance to watch '12 Years A Slave' but after watching the nominees and awards the movie received last night, it's definitely on my watch list.
