I am thankful!

Often times in the midst of life and all its glamour, it becomes second nature to just want more, more, and more. We tend to forget that every single possession, every single miracle, every single blessing is nothing but a privileged from The One. Stored in the back end of our conscious, being thankful isn't a daily contemplation that one ponders over. So today, I want to be thankful for every single blessing, test, and challenge that I have been blessed to experience. Allah has given us a promise that, if we are thankful for His blessings, He will certainly give us more.
14:7
“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe’.” (14:7)
 So with this thought, I challenge you to take a minute out of your day (everyday) to thank Allah for the beat that seamlessly pumps inside each and every one of us, alhumdulillah.
