If you're a frequent reader, you must know how much I love skinny pants! But as they say, change is good so to switch things up a tad bit, I decided to rock these wide-leg pants. I must'n admit, they proved to be a lot more chic than I excepted - so much for judging a book by its cover!
I love wearing baby-doll dresses as tops! They look so super cute over skinny jeans. It's always been kind of my thing, kind of like my go-to look when I can't think!
So I'm slowly but surely getting back into my blogging routine as these past few weeks have been a whirlwind! As I mentioned in a previous blogpost, I've been tasked with a few home improvements & then busy with my in laws who are visiting from overseas. Now if you're desi, you know what I mean by needing to have your A game strong, hehe. So yeah it's been crayyyy but I'm making a comeback nonetheless! :)
I was trying to be serious and not smile but my husband was making me laugh. That serious face ended so fast!
A quick OOTD in this pretty little shirt which made me look a little fat lol, I think it was a combination of the material + style. But hey, once in a while it's okay I guess!
Every time I decide to avoid looking down & posing, I look down and pose! UGH!
So my husband works out in Denver Colorado and he convinced me to take a trip to check it out. I'm so glad I went because it was absolutely beautiful!!! No words to describe the scenery and the beauty surrounding the city given Houston is so flat and boring lol. We did some amazing things like driving up Mountain Peaks (up to 12,000 ft high!), visiting the 'Garden of the Gods', the Zoo, and Estes Park. It was so crazy because at one point during our mountain drive, we legit experienced all four seasons. On one side you'd witness the bright sun accompanied by greenery and within the next thousand feet you'd experience minor rain which converted into snow because it was sooo cold.
Looks like a painting! Unreal!
This is at 12,000 ft, I could almost touch the sky. Well I think I possibly did!
So here is graduation inspiration two for all my casual and laid back babes! I was one of those - I refused to wear a skirt or dress (don't know exactly why) but just wasn't in the mood. Of course you can switch out the jeans if you think that's too casual for black pants!
Finally back with a little bit of fashion JIT (just in time) for graduation inspiration! Graduation is such an exciting and joyous time that marks one of the biggest milestones in your life! You want to feel and look your best this day so since it is right around the corner, I wanted to be sure I shed some light on outfit ideas!
Although I personally had preferred to wear pants vs dress under my gown, I know some girls wants to go a bit dresses so this dress from Moon Boutik is IDEAL!
You can wear it two ways, with or without the belt. I opted for the belted version as it adds some structure to the overall silhouette.
Add a little more jewels (if you want) and you are ready to take the fashion runway (okay fine the stage) and shine bright!
Good thing this dress comes in various colors so you are left with plenty of options to finalize from. I'm also rocking the new Cover33 Spring/Summer collection which can be found on
