A second Eid Inspo outfit from Mirage By Numra this time featuring a 'cape' style abaya. The material of this abaya is so luxurious and soft and it flows so beautifully. I love how it can be a very dressy piece if paired with all black like I've done here:
Pictures do no justice! I can't wait to wear it out :)
Let me know what you guys think and be sure to explore Mirage By Numra to order your Eid out ASAP!!!
I'm in love with my Eid Collab with Mirage By Numra - a UK modest attire brand. The creative eye behind her creation is pure genius - think cuts, flow, material, and uniqueness! I'm absolutely in love with all the pieces from her Ramadan 2016 collection.
June 20th marked the FIRST day of Summer in the States, yes!!! Although it felt like summer much earlier here in Texas thanks to the abundant amount of sun we get, I'm excited it's officially summer!
I'm sharing a few of my FAV summer time essentials that I find myself obsessed with - prints, bright colors, tassel earrings, wedge heels, stacked bracelets, denim, long dresses and so much more!!
Today I'm ft an abaya courtesy of CoverdBliss! It was fun to style this abaya since it has a little more edge to it vs the ordinary black style. It also has a embellished panel running down the middle (as you can see below) which adds a touch of sparkle/glam making it perfectly suitable for nighttime events.
DIR Fashion does it again with their amazing utility dresses but this time in this gorgeous cherry blossom print!

I'm back with a great product that I'll be doing a review on. So for a few months I've been on a hunt for a good body-scrub as I got tired of my previous favorite and wanted to try something new to change things up a bit. Coincidentally enough, the company Scrub Love contacted me to review their original "Coffee Scrub" and I was so ecstatic! Literally, sometimes the timings of things are just right!
Anyhow, I'm SOLD on this baby! I wasn't sure about it being made from "coffee" as I thought, isn't that purely for drinking ??! - lol but I'm glad I gave this a go because this scrub works like magic and I really mean it!
Upon my research, I soon learned coffee is a natural exfoliator - (I swear I only thought brown sugar fulfilled this purpose!) and because of it's caffeine properties, it stimulates circulation gently buffing away dead skin and unveiling a whole new level of smooth skin.
This is how I've been using it:
1) I'll apply the scrub generously all over - you can focus on problem areas and use it as a "spot" treatment if you like and leave it on for no more than 5 minutes. *I have been using it on my face also (rubbing veryyy gently ) in hopes of reducing acne scarring. I'll update you guys on how this goes*
2) Gently wash away under luke warm water
You will instantly feel the smooth skin - I swear I'm not making this stuff up, it's the softest my skin has ever been using ANY kind of exfoliator out there.
The best thing? It's all natural baby - literally! Free from parabens, artificial colors, fragrances, and preservatives.

If you do try it, let me know what you think. You can thank me later ;)

You might have noticed I am an arm candy kinda girl - I absolutely love wearing arm jewelry, sometimes layering or sometimes just wearing one classic piece. Lately I've been rocking my Cluse watch which I'm fairly obsessed with because of its light pink leather strap and soft rose gold accents!
I have my moods where I'm a silver girl, or a gold girl, but lately I've been reaching more towards rose gold! So in love!
You can shop a range of different styles on CluseWatches.com! They have such lovely items and they're super affordable.
The moon was sighted in North America last night which marked the first night of Taraweeh prayers and June 6th as the first fasting day of Ramadan!
I hope you all have a very prosperous, fulfilling, and spiritual month. Empty your stomach to feed your soul!
Please keep me in your prayers as you all are in mines!
xo
I'll leave you with this awesomely practical "good deeds to do list" ! Please let me know if you actually end up doing any of these! I will write a future blogpost sharing what I did, inshAllah!
It is with great sadness I write this post about an influential individual whose name has graced every household across the world. Muhammad Ali has passed away.
Growing up, I remember learning about him for the first time and I was so awe inspired by his strength, his ambition, his eloquence in speaking but more so his name and how he personally picked the Prophets name to be his after forsaking his "slave" name. Something about this man gave me a sense of pride - that we both shared the same religion, that we both called onto the same God. He spoke up during times no one did and he always lead by example. It is a true loss for the black community, the Muslim community, and humanity in general.
I pray he has an easy journey onto the next life and may God make this difficult time easy for his family.
The fight may be over now but your legend will last forever.
