So I've got some exciting news to share... inshAllah I am getting married next weekend! Now I know some of you may be thinking, "I thought you're already married" well yes I am, but we've only had our Nikkah (kind of like taking your vows - the religious part) done. On June 15th, we shall do our reception and inshAllah be officially married in the eyes of the desi (Pakistani/Indian) community, ha!
I wish my wedding was in the States but it will be a destination wedding in Pakistan iA! My husband is Pakistani and in order to accomodate his family, we are traveling to Paki to have our reception. I'm kind of both excited and nervous but I'm sure it'll be a great experience.
Anyhow, this should explain my lack of post on both Instagram and my blog. I've got so many last things to do, it's actually a little overwhelming. :(
