Accidental White

So the sun was minutes away from setting and I had 5 potential minutes of daylight left to shoot a quick OOTD (outfit of the day). Amidst that hurry, I couldn't find the black shoes I intend to wear with this outfit. In a freak rush, I just grabbed these white shoes in hopes of making it out there in time. Ugh, now that I see the pictures, I kind of hate it, I kind of don't.

Anyways, so the latest fashion "trend" is the high-slit + pants. If you don't know what I'm referring to, think SHALWAR KAMEEZ. Many celebrities, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, - to name a few, have been seen sporting this style and getting much praise for its uniqueness. I think it's kind of cool that fashion inspiration comes from every corner of the world; this goes to prove that fashion has no rules/limits. BUT I do think credit is due ;). Asian woman have been wearing this style for centuries. Vietnam, Pakistan, India - this is normal for us.  But when something becomes mainstream, it's instantly much trendier right? *Inserts amused face*. You can find an article that discusses that here.

  1. Totally agree with the split trend fashion! They should give credit! Love the outfit, even with the white shoes ;)
